Lets Talk eCommerce Copywriting, and what makes it different from other forms of copywriting?
Today we talk to someone with the solitary title of eCommerce copywriter. She does one thing and does it very well. She writes copy for eCommerce sites.
How can YOU increase your conversions, and meaningful engagement?
The world of eCommerce as much as it changes on a daily basis, is still very much about written words. So how do you put together a site focuses on the customer experience in a genuine and authentic way whose overall goal is to sell, but not to be salesy! Nobody wants to be sold to anymore, not that we ever did, but customers are getting more educated and learning the subtleties of sales so much that its almost counter intuitive to sell somebody on something, and not has gotten to a point that it really is about authenticity in the storytelling.
When I am asked about eCommerce copywriting, my pragmatic brain goes straight to the product description and the sales aka product page! Its the area on the site that the so called magic happens. You will see me talking about friction free checkouts all the time, but if they don’t click ‘add to cart’ they will never get to the checkout!
So to cut to the chase, today we talk about all this and so much more. Something really fascinating that is starting to take over the branding world as well: DIGITAL POETRY! So hit that play button and enjoy the show.
