Whatever happened to store-to-store transfers? Why was that level of service so easy years ago, but now with the digital capabilities at our disposal it seems almost impossible to do even half the things we used to? Why is it that if something is available in-store, why can I not order it shipped to my location or to a store near me? I get it; there are logistics issues. Online is separate from instore, it’s not synchronized it’s not omnichannel, it’s dual in this case dueling sales channels. The harmony between online and offline sales is completely broken.
